Decks and Other Garden Construction
Two principal materials figure in most Gardens of Prestige landscape construction projects- wood and stone- both engineered and natural. These provide the most basic infrastructure or bones of the Muskoka, Newmarket, Aurora, Collingwood, Orillia, Barrie and Wasaga Beach gardens we create.
WOOD
Functionality and aesthetic appeal can be created with the construction of a multi-level deck or post and beam structure. Similarly, the use of post and beam structures on their own as in a privacy screen or gazebo or in a children’s play area add to the unique quality of any professionally landscaped property. Fencing in wood, engineered wood products or wrought iron defines and secures the property but must also mesh with the overall design vision. Regardless of which materials you choose, our experienced Gardens of Prestige team will install landscape surfaces, structures and enclosures which are attractive and useful for many years to come.
STONE
Simple elegance and comfortable, designated use of space is established with the use of natural large slab flagstone for patios or walkways. Equally, the use of natural stone retaining walls and rock gardens provides a natural product which is very adaptable and useful, while adding elegance and beauty to your garden. The advantage of installing stone staircases is its stability and diversity in appearance and if installed correctly, will never need to be replaced. Manmade stone and brick in addition augment the range of landscape design possibilities and styles.
